Creme Bouquet in my standard buttercream icing. It gives it that "just right" taste. Do you use it in your buttercream? If not, what flavoring gives your standard buttercream that "just right" taste.

Haven't tried Bouquet but hope to. I love to use almond, vanilla and a little butter flavoring for my buttercream.

I use it sometimes, but my relatives say that it tastes like some kind of generic premade frosting, so I don't use it for them.

My buttercream doesn't taste right without Adams clear vanilla in it. They quit carrying it in all the stores here and I had to order a couple gallons so my frosting would taste good again.

I tried it a few years back but I didn't like the taste almost perfume like to me. I stick with the basics, vanilla, clear vanilla, almond or butter.
