I never have had this happen before but my buttercream dream icing that I always use is full of air pockets. I made it like normal so I'm not sure what would cause this. Any ideas?
I've had that problem before. If you can let it rest a while, then use a big spoon or spatula and just gently stir, the bubbles will disapate.
I made the icing yesterday with my KA. Then I stirred it by hand and the pockets were still there. Today when I went to ice my cake, they were still there so I stirred and stirred. They never went away. Which meant when I iced my cake I had a thousand air pockets in the icing. I just dont know what changed that would cause this. I have only used this icing for the last year or two and never had this problem
