I'm doing a cake for my neighbor's daughter who will be turning 8 on Sunday and I have a question. I putting royal icing decorations on fondant but was wondering if the decoratons i'm making should be on a slightly round surface or can it lay flat. A sketch of the cake i'm doing is attached. Any Advice for me.

I have tried a couple of time to attach the picture and having nothing but bad luck with it. No worries though. I thought of another way to get what I was going after. I created a stencil, layed it on gumpaste and cut it out. Thanks for wanting to help.
