My Daugher is going to participate in the annual 4-H Sugar cooking contest! This will be her very 1st year! We want a dessert to blow everyone out the water!! The main rule about the dish is it has to include one-half (1/2) cup of 100% sugar. The sugar used in the recipe may be granulated white sugar, brown (light or dark) sugar, powdered sugar, or any combination of the above. And from scratch recipes are wanted! I usually bake from a box! So I am looking for ideas! Shes 9! Wants something very original and tasty to impress the judges!! Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and Kaitlynn!!

I highly recommend this recipe. You can make it into a bundt with no icing (or just a glaze) or a regular cake and then ice and decorate. It is VERY moist and delicious!
