Icing Colors?

What is the best brand of icing color to use? I have mostly wilton and was wondering what others are using? Thanks

The best one to use is the one that is readily available to you and gives you the results you want. icon_smile.gif

Personally I much prefer Americolor, just because I like squeeze bottles better than pots. Easier to use without making a mess. I've also heard that they are better quality than Wilton in terms of the colors being true and long-lasting, and that Wilton is the most likely to taste bitter when you use a lot of it. I've never had any real problems with Wilton, though, and I use it sometimes depending on what colors I have on hand or which store is more convenient to get to when I need it. (There are other brands, but the Americolor is what's carried by the cake-decorating-supply stores in my area. And Wilton, of course, is carried by the big craft-supply chains.)
