So I have to make my nephews birthday cake, however, I will be out of town on that Saturday. I have heard of freezing a completely decorated fondant cake but have no idea on how to do it. Any suggestions will be helpful
Its just going to be a plain single tier cake....I was thinking of maybe freezing the cake Wednesday or Thursday before his Saturday birthday.
I wouldn't freeze it with fondant on it, the fondant will turn to goop when it defrosts
It should be fine in a cool place out of the sun.
