Hi Everyone,
My DH inspired me to setup a little blog around my love of caking. I decided to start off with a tutorial based on my first wedding cake. I'm just a hobbyist but I hope this is helpful to the more visual learners out there.

If you go to and scroll down, it's the 2nd post.

Thanks to everyone on CC for all the fabulous help and info that allowed me to make my friend's wedding cake!

post #2 of 9 looks really great...I LOVE cake blogs, and my absolute favorites are the ones that feature more than just photos of finished client cakes.
I've added yours to my roster.

The pleating tutorial is awesome!!

Thanks Flourpots..I really appreciate it. My goal is to post as many step by steps for my future cakes ..I will be posting some about cakes in the past and I don't have as many of the step by steps on those but hopefully there will be many helpful hints and details.
