I don't have any cake dummies...but I was wondering if this would work out ok with any of the cakes going over the edges of the cake it's on top of:

6" round
8" square
10" round
12" hexagon

All stacked. Thanks in advance!

Can you stack your pans? You might be cutting it a bit close on the 8" square on the 10" round.

well i ususally go by the cake pans...if they hang over then the cake will hang over...did you try stacking the pans only???

I'll just echo the comments of stacking the pans. Sure, the cake will be a tad smaller, but if you put the same recipe in all the pans, they will probably pull back the same amount.

I agree, the 10in round, and the 8in square might be cutting it close. Try stacking the pans for sure.

oh yeah dunce.gif I forgot about stacking pans, LOL!

You're right, the 8"/10" is too close a fit for me. And I don't have my hexagon pan yet. Hmm...trying to think of some ideas for a mixed shape cake
