Hi All!

I used to do only buttercream cakes. but now i want to do fondant cakes. I buy wilton fondant for the small figurines. I wanted to buy satin ice. But I find it very very very expensive. I dont get paid for the fondant work. Can you give me a good tasting ,easy to work fondant recipe. Or anyplace where i can satin ice for less in Auting Texas. Thanks .

This is my favorite recipe:

It's simple to make and it tastes awesome! I like to substitute 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring, and 1/2 tsp. almond extract for the lemon extract and vanilla.

I find glycerin in the pharmacy section at wal-mart. It is with the hand lotions and medicated creams.
