Hi Cakers!!! icon_biggrin.gif

I want to make a few edible images and store them in a cake box. My question is, how long will they last. I had a edible printer nightmare that I posted about earlier this week. I want to go ahead and make them since my printer is being nice to me this week. icon_wink.gif

Party is in November. Can I print them and just leave the frosting sheets in the plastic bag they came in? Or, can I print and attach them to the fondant and leave in a cake box for 1 1/2 month?

Thanks,

I had one printed about a month ago and had an extra one printed as a spare in case I stuffed up. I didn't end up needing it. I've kept it in cello bag in a cool dark place, it still looks as good as new. From my understanding the biggest worry is with fading, so keeping them out of sunlight should help.

Thanks!

I would keep it covered in a cake box. The cake box is inside a cool room with a window that I keep covered with a dark sheet.

Thanks
Michael
