Hi guys,

I hope you can help me, I am making a black bag cake and want to know the best way of cleaning the powdered sugar from the black paste - I need the black to stay really black and any white specks will spoil the effect.

Any ideas would help me loads this morning.

Thanks icon_smile.gif

use a brush to get it off
apply some vodka/ alcohol - will evaporate taking the powder with it!
rub in some trex - will also give it a shine though, so youd need to do the whole cake.
xx

Thank you so much, just finished covering the cake, so off to apply some alcohol - it is a very important cake so i may need some alcohol to steady my nerves...... icon_smile.gif
