I tried making some truffles but the mix came out very fudgy. So I think I added too much icing. And even with all the icing I added, it still just tasted like cake. Not that my cake tastes bad - but it's frustrating when I am trying to get a flavored ball. So how do I get the proper texture of the truffle and still have strong flavor you want.
Adding additional flavoring extract to the frosting (used as binder) would be one way to up the flavor quotient without changing the texture to fudgy.
