ok I did a search and there were "no posts in the forum" so I need help here.

If I make cupcakes and want to soak them in a coffee liqueur, how do I go about doing that?

do I just pour it over the baked cupcakes?

do I take off the papers?

should I just make a coffee liqueur BC and use it to fill and top the cupcakes?

TIA

take a toothpick and pierce several holes in the top of the cake then lightly drizzle the liqueur or brush it on top.

I agree - brush it over the top of the cake after you have pierced some little holes in them - that way it won't run to the bottom of your cupcakes and make the bottoms all soggy.
