I have a potential order for a TON of cut out cookies & they want shortbread cookies. Shortbread in my mind crumble SUPER easy & I'm worried...
Anyone have an easy/yummy recipe to share that won't be too crumbly?
The NFSC recipe (no fail sugar cookie) in the recipe section is fantastic - and much more like a cross between a buttery shortbread and a sugar cookie than a traditional sugar cookie in my opinion.
That's what I usually use & they're SO yummy! Not sure if they'd consider that not shortbread...The shortbread that I made the other day was delicious, but it was fragile & I'm afraid that after I decorate them & wrap them up in a cello bag that they're going to be in pieces by then!
Maybe I'll try the NFSC recipe again & see how they go. Problem is, the people I'm baking for are out of town until about 3 days before I need to deliver them!
