A friend wants me to make her a cake with buttercream frosting...but she also needs to transport the cake on a 4 hr roadtrip for the baby shower. any suggestions on the buttercream type and transporting would be appreciated!!

I use a vegetable shortening based buttercream and I have transported cakes from state to state without any problems. If you are interested in my recipe, let me know and I will share it with you.
