I have been asked to prepare a cake for our local High School. We are entertaining group from a school in Denmark. I have been asked to write the word 'Welcome' in Danish which I have. I do not have a color scheme, it's been left up to me.
I have made a 1/2 sheet cake, but I'm not sure about the decorations. I was asked to do something 'coastal'.
I'm looking for inspiration and suggestions. Please help, you all are so wonderful with your ideas.

Do you know the group's school colors? You could use those maybe. And what kind of group is it...maybe you could incorporate the group's "theme". As far as coastal goes...I don't know. Denmark has a heck of a coastline if you want to try to carve the cake into the shape of Denmark.
