I have frozen buttercream frosting before, so I know that works. However, I was wondering if you can freeze cream cheese frosting? Is there a difference?

I have frozen cream cheese frosting before for a couple months. I let it come to room temp and slightly beat it again. You may have to add a little powdered sugar to it if it isnt the right consistency.

I freeze cream cheese icing all the time, since it's my family's favorite! I've even frozen it in icing plugs, and it always comes out just as creamy as the day I packaged it. icon_smile.gif
