Hello all

I have done a little bit of cake decorating before but want to tackle a SPiderman cake for my little boy's birthday.

What should I make the figure from, fondant or marzipan?
Also, Spiderman has silver spider web effects all over him.....how can I get this effect?

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks

I made a spiderman you can look in my pics. I used fondant but have also used modeling chocolate. If you want to put "silver" on him you could use royal icing or paint with a silver dust and vodka mix. hth
