Question About Addng Puree To Imbc

If I want to add strawberry puree to my IMBC how much can I add? My recipe for IMBC makes 4.5 cups. Also, could I add coffee to it if I wanted to or is the coffee too watery for IMBC?

I have added instant coffee powder and it gives it a nice flavor, just don't use too much or it becomes bitter. Remember, IMBC is less sugary that traditional BC. I think I added strawberry puree once, nut it was just a trial so I took a blob of icing and added the puree to taste (and it tasted great!), so I cannot give any measurements or ratio. Probably you can get a better answer on that from other CC members. Good luck!

I just add strawberry puree till it looks right. Sorry I can't be of more help on an exact amount! A lot of times I use strawberry juice from drained frozen strawberries, and then I boil the juice down until it's really concentrated. then it gives more flavor and isn't as watery. It's sooo yummy too!
