Do you mean an Italian rum cake that has custard fillings? That's a very traditional wedding cake in my family. Someone just posted a link to a recipe for that. I've made it a couple of times. The recipe is OK but not great and I would definitely suggest trying it out well in advance. Let me know if that's what you are looking for and I'll see if I can find the link.

bacardi.com very basic yet delicious rum cake. I use the rum syrup between the layers. I prefer a cream cheese icing or a rum buttercream. hth

This is also my go-to rum cake recipe. It's really good. I use Bacardi 151 and everyone raves!
