I am making a cake today for my nieces sweet 16. I had previously made some gumpaste daisies, the funny part is I didn't stop to consider how I was going to attache said daisies! I know rookie mistake! anyone have any suggestions? They are already dried and they need to be placed on the cake in a way that makes them look as tho they are floating there. I dont want them to slide down the cake.

Are they being put on fondant or buttercream?

You can use a dab of royal icing or melted chocolate on either fondant or buttercream. If the flowers are small and light, you can pipe a small ring of buttercream on the back of the flowers and stick them on. May have to hold them on for a few seconds. The ring creates a little vacuum action.
