Hi!
Im looking for some different templates to make a BIG ginger house for my xmas trade show.
Anyone have any ideas?
hmmm... I don't know of any, but I would be interested in that too! I usually just create my own templates... but it would be nice not to have to reinvent the wheel all the time!
I knwo right?
Im looking for something A little more intricate. Fancy! going to be a centerpeice on my table!
Try looking on this site. http://www.gingerbread-house-heaven.com/index.html
They have a couple basic free ones and some more complicated ones as well as a lot of good tips.
There was another site called Frank's Attic or something like that, then they changed their name and now I can't find the link. As soon as I do I'll post it.
Hey there sweetheart! Here is a link to an ongoing thread. It's rather long, but has all kinds of info in it. We revive it each year. There are loads of links and recipes in it. You might find what you are looking for if you want to spend a bit of time searching.

Along the lines of using the Haunted Dimensions Phantom Manor templates...
You could use a paper model of any building, and blow it up to size, and create your own templates for any structure you can find a paper model of.
I'm going to do just that, and my plan over the next few years is to take the Haunted Mansion paper models from HD mentioned above, and make them all in gingerbread. I'm also going to do the lighthouses of Oregon and Washington
Look forward to seeing your finished house!
Happy Baking,
~ Scott
