I am making a cake for carving and using Dawn's Chocolate Cake recipe (modified Hershey's I believe). Her recipe calls for fat free / sugar free instant pudding, but I want to use regular instant pudding. Now, do I substitute box for box (they both serve 4 servings), or do I substitute by weight? Sugar weighs more. I am just worried I will make the cake too dry if I substitute box for box, or not chocolatey enough if I substitute by weight!!! Has anyone out there done this before?? I am mixing ingredients at the moment . . .

Thanks out there!

There is no difference, use whichever you prefer (regular or fat free).

Thank you! I was hoping that was the answer since I went ahead and did it!
