I just wanted to get everyone's opinion. Do you think red velvet cakes taste better with oil or butter?
this won't help you much but it doesn't matter taste wise to me. I know that I can't go a day without eatting butter so if I had to vote, I would say butter!!
I use oil, I like the taste slightly more, but it is easier when I am in a hurry to bake I don't have to wait for the butter to come to room temp.
i use oil and its faster with oil as well you dont have the hasel of measuring butter.. im using martha steward recipie... its ammmmazing
