I have no idea where to start. How much should I charge for gumpaste flowers? A bride wants a band of gumpaste flowers around every tier. I have never had to make this many flowers b4 and have no clue what to charge, do you charge by the flower?

Yes, you charge by the flower. If you are purchasing them be sure to add a bit to cover your time/gas/shipping whatever. If you are making them, price them out online and see what it would cost for you to purchase them and then charge that or higher.

I usually add the cost of the flowers into the price of the cake...so if the cake without flowers was $5 per serving I might charge 6.25 per serving to cover the flowers. So let's say I can buy 50 roses at 2.50 each which would add 125.00 to the cost of the cake...lets say I'm charging $5 per slice of cake for a 100 serving cake...I would add 1.25 to that cost bringing the cake up to 6.25 per slice with the flowers. Hope that made sense to you! LOL!
