I always use Indydebi's BC recipe....and I have always loved it! It holds up well in humidity...and crusts so well..its smooth too..absolutely LOVE IT....however...im finding it too sweet now...and so is my hubby and some friends...
so now i am on a hunt for another BC recipe...any suggestions?? I want a crusting BC that holds up in well in humidity...

I love indydebi's recipe as well, but some say it's a tad too sweet. so I started replacing some of the powdered sugar with cornstarch. now it's less sweet, and it makes no difference in the texture of the icing.
I've also heard that some people put some extra popcorn salt in it, and that cuts down on the sweetness.
Good luck to you!

I use Sugar-Shack's (Sharon Zambito) recipe. I live in the south where the heat and humidity are awful. My BC holds up well...even for outside weddings!
