What Do You Cover Masonite Boards With?

I got a large 24"x24"x1/2" masonite board. What do I cover it with? What do buddy and duff use to cover the boards for the gigantic cakes? What is food safe to use?

Also do you rent these boards out? I not quite sure what to charge for the rental fee. My plateaus and stand rentals are all $35. What do you charge for these?

I cover my boards with fondant.

Oh right, wouldn't mind one of those. I pay that amount for a normal cake drum

I use foam core board .. works well and is a lot less expensive.
