Sorry i have another question about timing. I am taking the cake on Sunday and I have the cake covered in fondant and stacked. I applied all the fondant decorations now I need to add frosting decorations (wilton's icing writer and canned frosting). Should I wait until tomorrow or will the be okay until then if i do it now? Also, should i store the cake on the counter? Thanks!!!
yes. Store the cake on the counter. The humidity in the refrigerator will destroy the fondant. Also, don't put the cake in an airtight container. The humidty from the inside of the cake will still cause the fondant to droop and the fondant decorations will fall off. Unfortunately, I've never worked with that type of frosting so I can't make recommendations there.
