Is there anything I can do to speed up the drying process?

Put it on a bed of cornstarch under a desk lamp.

You can put them in your oven with just the light on, so leave the oven OFF and turn on the light. That works very well. Just make sure whatever you place it on is dusted well with cornstarch. Also pull it out and let it cool before moving it. It will be warm.
