I have a lot of people wanting cakes since they have learned that I can do them one with out them having to drive to another city or going to walmart for it. But I simply cant do them for free anymore..

My question is, can I rent a kitchen like at the church, bake and decorate there and then bring the cakes home for pick-up/ delivery? or can I bake there and decorate at home?

I have started reading up on it but dont really understand it. Could some one please point me in the right direction?

Yes, I rent from a church currently while I am building my own comm kitchen to do my cakes out of. I am going to rent to others as well when it is finished. Some say that a church will lose it's non profit status. That isn't so. As long as they assign the funds to go to a ministry or mission instead of income they can do it. My payment is alotted to the fellowship ministry as a donation from my company. I also work for the church.
