I was wondering how do I make my buttercream shinny..I have noticed some cakes on here that are decorated with buttercream and they have a shine to them. I was wondering if there is something I can add the mixture to make it shinny or does it have to do with a particular recipe.
Have u got an example picture? If it's more of a shimmer than a shine it could be pearly or lustre dust.
No is the buttercream that looks like that..I wonder if its because they adds egg whites?
It could be SMBC
could be warm and melty, lol! i know ri has a shine before it dries, maybe a non crusting bc would have a shine as well? (although i made imbc i wouldnt say it had a shine, then again ive only made it once)
