That's only $2/serving - is that normal for your area? Does it even cover your expenses?

where you able to see the picture, not sure how much they charge in my area, I'm kind of new at the pricing thing... I just don't want to sound too expensive. I'm too soft when it comes to pricing icon_sad.gif

I'm having problems attaching the picture, well its a baby carriage, its covered in fondant with zebra stripes. using a 12'' pan and (2) 8'' pans for the wheels.

Personally, I have a base price per serving but the cost of cakes has more to do with the intricacy of the design, and the hours of labor. I might have a cake that is only 20 serving but it takes 15 hours to finish, in that case serving size has little to nothing to do with the price of the cake. How long do you think the cake will take you to complete? You need to determine what your time is worth.

your right multilayered...thanks, and thats something I don't think about when it comes to the labor.
