Hey all,

I am making a 60th birthday cake for people that live two hours away. They said they were going to pick it up tomorrow and eat it then aswell. I just recived a call from the lady saying they now can't pick the cake up till wednesday and they'll eat it Thursday!

I baked my cakes last night and pulled out some froze buttercream from my last cake I made three days ago. What should I do?? Should I freeze my cake and pull it out tomorrow?? Just bake another cake and decorate it? Should I make new buttercream or can I put it in the fridge and it will be ok??

I'm so frustrated right now....nothing like having people change things on you icon_sad.gif

Thanks for all the help!

Wrap the cake in plastic and freeze.
Put BC in tightly fitting container and place (in fridge) away from any food with strong odors .
Start over tommorrow.
Is it too early for a glass of wine?
