Anyone who has taken a class with Jennifer Dontz knows how extremely talented she is. SHe has FINALLY launched a new DVD that focuses on Roses and Stephanotis, and was gracious enough to allow me to interview her for my blog! If you would like to learn Jen's flower techniques, I really recommend this DVD!

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her, but have watched her DVD on floral arranging several times. She's a great instructor and I was so excited to see the new DVD is available.

Thanks for the great interview with her, Mark...great blog!

I'm so excited! I am the winner of the dvd Mark gave away on his blog from this interview!

I bought the easy and tasty fondant dvd and it was fabulous ( amazing fondant recipe btw- my step daughter won't eat anything besides the white chocolate fondant I make from her recipe lol.... the other step daughter will eat any fondant and insists on trying each colour to ensure it tastes ok lol)

I've ordered from sugardelites before and the service is amazing. Jennifer actually refunds shipping when it doesn't cost as much . She is quick to help with any questions.

I really enjoyed the interview as well and am looking forward to reading more on the blog!

Morsels,
The link to your website isn't working. Is it just me, or another CC glitch, or is something happening with the site?
Thanks.

Jen is awesome, she helped me tremendously learning how to do a gumpaste Peony, and let me share some of the techniques in my blog tutorial. I hope to attend one of her classes one day too!

Jennifer, quick question. Is the video suitable for begginers too? I've never done sugarpaste flowers, (aside from a ribbon rose, and that doesn't count) ---but I'm dying to try flowers!!

Hi Rosie!

In my classes, I've taught MANY who never touched gumpaste before and they do well. So yes, any skill level!

Thanks for your kind words....

I had the pleasure of attending Jen's class last year at her home in Michigan and am thrilled that I will also be at her upcoming class at her home again in two weeks. We are going to be making the peony, lily of the valley, pansy, magnolia and some kind of orchid.

Jen is a great person, fantastic sugar artist and one of the most helpful people you would ever want to meet. Love love, love her store.

I will be getting her new DVD when I attend the class and can't wait to see it. I do pretty well with roses but want to see what I can do to improve my technique.

Jen....see you in about 15 days! Manistee here we come!! Anyone else from CC going to be at Jen's class?

I just finished watching the new DVD and cannot say enough great things about it! Not only does she show you how to make a beautiful rose and stephanotis, she also shows you how to dust the flowers, gives suggestions for what kind of brushes to use when dusting, and even talks a bit about pricing gumpaste flowers -- all questions that I've been wrestling with for a while.

And as always, this DVD showcases Jen's terrific teaching style.

For those of us who have been burning up the forums this summer about how to make great gumpaste roses, this DVD is a must-have! icon_biggrin.gif
