Hi, I am icing a cake tonight that will be served tomorrow night and am unsure if it can be left out and for how long, hoping someone can help me!
Crusting Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
1/3 cup butter
1 cup Crisco
3/4 cup chocolate milk
1 heaping tsp instant coffee (added to the chocolate milk)
3 Tbsp powdered Dreamwhip
2 lb minus 1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
I think you can if you only use as much milk as you need and not the whole 3/4 cup.
I ended up using about half c.milk and half water......
I would leave it out if it was my cake. Cover it if possible without messing up the decoration.
What did u think of the results? How did it taste?
