am trying the double chocolate layer cake from epicurious but using it for cupcakes.

anyone know the cooking time? for the full cake it says 1 hour to one hour 10 mins. for cupcakes would it be about 22 mins? first batch in the oven this minute

i always check cupcakes at about 18-20 minutes. Typically they're done in this amount of time.

Thanks! just took first batch out at around 23 mins, (was testing them from 15 mins) and tehy seem great! yay! thanks!!

I did that recipe as cupcakes - 350 oven for 21 minutes.

Thanks linda, I had oven at 300f as per recipe. teh second batch i took out after 21 mins and they were fabulous!
