Im making a cake with the sizes of 8", 6", 8" and want to stack it just like that. How would i keep the 8" from smashing the 6" underneath or it going through the 8" on the bottom???? hope this isnt too confusing!
I have seen cakes like that . obviously you will need a good support system and a nice dense cake.
just make sure you have enough supports
As long as you stick to the principles in tutorials eg each cake needs its own board, I also put royal icing where the dowels have been placed to secure the next cake to the one underneath if that makes sense. I dont see why you cant do 8 6 8 as long as they are doweled properly
