How To Reduce/eliminate Air Bubbles In Cakes

The air bubbles that I'm referring to are the ones in the finished product. The ones you see in the texture of the cake once it's cut. How do you reduce these? Please help. Thanks

I use the same method as getting the air bubbles out of the concrete stepping stones I make. Pick up the pan and pound it a few times on the counter until the bubbles stop coming up. Always works for me. icon_biggrin.gif
