Our town has a craft show in our school every fall...I have never gotten out there and "pushed" my cakes so to speak ..but Michigan recently passed the law that allows us to sell cakes baked at home ...I was thinking of baking a few different style cakes and taking some pictures of things i have done and rent a table to get my name out there...Would using the craftshow as a showcase for what i can do...well what i really want to know is...is it appropriate?

I am in Michigan also and am thinking of doing the same thing. My kids go to a private Catholic school and I am going to set up a table at their annual card party in November and see how it goes. Have cakes and cookies made up, hand out business cards, etc...
