I just found this the other day at my mom's house. I guess I bought it years ago and forgot all about it!

Has anyone tried any of the recipes from the book? I was just thumbing through it and some of them look like they would be really good. Just thought I would ask.

I have this book and use it often. The recipes are very good. Most often the pound cake overflows the recommended pan size, though. Not sure why that is...but I generally use a slightly larger pan for that one.

I own it and I love it. I believe I have tried some of the recipes but honestly I just don't remember. I try so many! I don't have any 'bad' notes in the book next to anything so that's definitely a good sign! icon_biggrin.gif

I own both her books--"The Wedding Cake Book" and ""Wedding Cakes You Can Make". I love both of them for her beautiful buttercream work. They have given me lots of ideas. I use her Basic Chocolate Cake from "Wedding Cakes You Can Make" as my standard chocolate recipe.
