I was requested to make a cake for surprise for another cake decorator.
Any ideas? They kinda gave me freedom to do whatever I want.

Maybe you could portray a kitchen scene with a lady baking and decorating cakes!!

Or maybe you could use the "tools of the trade" (made with fondant) on the cake or something similar.

Interesting and a little more unique!! lol

First of all is it for a she or a he? I would investigate the person to see what this person likes outside of the kitchen. I would hook into one of their interests and go from there. Remember, it not always fancy, it can be fun. You don't want to put out a cake just for the sake of putting out a cake. You can come up with alot of ideas just walking through Micheals, Hobby Lobby etc...
