I am new to all of this, and let me start by saying, "you guys are AMAZING!" My question is about the italian buttercream, which I just tried this last week and fell in love. This may be a dumb question, but do you have to refrigerate the cake because of the egg whites, or does the syrup mixture "cook" them enough to leave it out? Thanks for your help!
it definitely needs refrigeration, I think I read in a post that you can keep it out upto 10-12 hrs if the room is air conditioned.
