Im just wondering if it is ok to freeze then refreeze?? You see, I am making a cake to take to my relatives who lives about 6 hours from here. But they are not needing it until labor day weekend. So, I was going to make it then freeze it. Then..once i get there she will put it back in the freezer. Will it affect the taste or texture??
I think you could refreeze...but I am worried about the 6 hours the cake would be out of the freezer...it would totally compromise the decorated cake and refreezing it might make more of a mess
