Has Anyone Used The Ez Cuts It?

hi all,
i'm new here icon_smile.gif
how do you all cut down dowels for stacking? i saw this neat little ($50) tool called the EZ Cuts It, and i'm wondering if it's worth buying in order to have something easily accessible that will cut a nice straight edge.
has anyone heard of/used it?
other than a serrated knife, what can i use to cut down dowels?

I bought a mini hack saw at Lowes for about 3.50. I just added a mini miter box from the model car row at Michael's (10.00- didn't have a coupon, unfortunately) which helps to hold things in place. Cuts wood and hard plastic (I had to adjust legs for SPS this past weekend).

I bought a pair of small pruning shears. They cut dowels easily.

Pet nail clippers. I have yet to try it as I keep forgetting to purchase a pair, but there are those on here who use them.

I also bought something at Lowes for like $10 that works wonderful. Save you hard earned cash and go with something else!
