I'm doing a cake for a pin up model and she gave me no clues as to what she wants done. She just asked me to "surprise" her and make something her style and that she was leaving it up to me.I would love some ideas.I was looking through her pictures and she wears alot of black and white polka dots and alot of big flowers.Any ideas?

Edit to add:
It's just going to be a 10 inch round cake.

Here's some cakes to check out to maybe help you come up with a design.

Check out the fourth row from the bottom on this link: the black and white floral cake

And, of course, a cake central member's cake link

I know these are wedding cakes however, you can just make a smaller cake.

Hope this helps!!

Think 1940's to early 1950's. Red, black, white and bright pink are popular combos. Research rockabilly, much of the clothing styles for that comes from pin up styles.

Leopard print, cherries all popular pin up motifs.

Girly with a bit of an edge.

Maybe a couple big red (or deep pink) and black aneome(sp?) flowers on a black cake with white polka dots? Or al Leopard print cake?
