Tonight I found the nice Mary Engelbreit and Paula Deen cookie tins on 60% off clearance at Michaels. They are tins with the clear windows in the lids. The large size was $1.59 and the small size was $1.19.

I read your post last night so I had my eye out for them when I went today. I bought all of the ones they had left, about 15. They had the smaller ones for .59c and bigger ones for .79. Thanks for posting!!

Wow, you got a better deal than I did! I like the window tins, and the tin designs were cute.

Bless your lil' bakin' heart, Cindy58! I went to two Michael's today and they were 60% at the first store (and only had 2), then the second store had Studio 18 tins on clearance at 70%, yippee!! The small were 89 cents and the large were $1.19. I was able to get 23 or 24 tins (12 small and the rest large) for $25.

I've been checking prices everywhere for cookies boxes with cellophane, and the cheapest one I found was 99 cents and would only hold one or two cookies. These are perfect for gift giving and Christmas.

Hi Everyone:

I am really hoping someone can
help me. I am in desperate need
of one of those Cookie Tins that
was on sale at Michaels a few months
ago.

I had baked cookies for a friend fir
her birthday and that tin was the only
storage container I could find.
It is purple, pink and yellow with
lots of pictures of cupcakes all around
the edges and has a clear lid so
you can view the baked goods.

I am really hoping someone has
an extra one they could let me buy
and if course I will pay all shipping
charges. I so appreciate your help.

Thanks again.

A devoted baker
