Finished making a cake, was vanilla cake, did the buttercream crumb coat etc underneath and then covered with fondant. Had the finish looking good when I went to bed but when I got up in the morning it had developed a lot of air bubbles. Any advice on where I have gone wrong & what I could do to prevent this would be much appreciated. Thanks icon_cry.gif

Did you allow enough time for proper settling?

I suppose I probably only left it an hour max in the fridge just to harden the buttercream a bit. How long should I leave it for? Being impatient probably is one of my major character flaws, that and the attention span of a goldfish LOL!
