About 3 months ago, I decided that for a lark, I'd try a topsy turvy cake. Didn't have anyone to make it in real cake for so I did a styrofoam dummy. About half way through I was feeling so good that I decided to take it to the Missouri State Fair. I sent the paperwork off and then went on vacation for 2 weeks. When I came back, a couple of days before I needed to deliver the cake, I decided to add the little girl figure. I think that was what pushed me over the top. I won a blue ribbon in my division, AND GRAND CHAMPION of decorated cakes. Who would have guessed? This was my first time entering.
We went to the fair to go to a concert and took pictures.
Bummer, I can't get the picture to attach. I'ts the first pic in My Photos.

It's just gorgeous! Not your average topsy turvy cake. No wonder you won! It's terrific!
