It seems that we must now put watermarks across our cake photos to keep people from using them illegally. Can someone please explain this to me. I have never felt the need to do this until now.
I posted how to do it on the first page of this topic, but incase the topic gets deleted here it is copy and pasted.
The easiest way I have found to watermark is to use picasa, it's a FREE editing program from google (just google it )
You can add text over your picture and then change the transparency so you can put it right over your cake, but it's still watermarked.
Even with a watermark someone could try to spend the time to remove it from a photo, but for most people that's just too much work and won't deal with it.
It happens every few years.
If you have 'Paint' or 'Adobe Photodelux', you just type your watermark in any color, font and size, and drag it over the picture to the place you want it.
Save to your computer, and post anywhere you want.
Thank you! Guess what I will be doing this weekend!
