I know there are some dusts that you mix with liquid (vodka, water, vanilla) but I use Silver Glaze a food-grade edible glaze. by bakery crafts.

I use silver Amerimist airbrush color. Just brush it on with a paintbrush.

You can also use the different dusts. Some are more metallic than others. The wilton ones are more glittery than metallic.

Get a good quality silver luster dust, like Global Sugar Arts Nu Silver, and mix with a little vodka or other alcohol based liquid. I dip my brush in the vodka, dip it in the dust, and then mix it together. Add more liquid or dust to get the consistency you need.

I tried it with Wilton dusts before I knew about the GSA dusts. It did not work at all!

Good luck.
